Hola again -
A short update about some long-lost family I met in the last week of my being a Torontonian. I took my sweet time sending them a letter; I finally did, and got replies from their kids, so after a bit of email juggling, my step grandfather's brother Ludo (work that one out, kids), his wife Polly, their son Mike and his son Adam all drove down 1.5 hours away from Peterborough just for me.
They were all lovely and Ludo was hilarious and Polly was so sweet and I feel like a complete douchebag for not writing them sooner.
So to that little family: thank you for your kindness and we'll keep in touch.
